Our Mission

Recovery holds when
someone has a home.

Most people do not relapse because they stopped wanting to be sober. They relapse because they walked out of treatment and had nowhere stable to go.

Meliorem Housing exists to close that gap. We provide a substance-free residence with real structure — weekly house meetings, accountability to peers, curfews, drug and alcohol testing, and an expectation that every man here is working, in school, or actively looking.

We support every path to recovery. Twelve-step, faith-based, therapy, medication-assisted treatment, or your own approach — what matters is that you are doing the work and that the house stays safe for everyone in it.

We do not treat anyone. We house them, hold them to a standard, and stand beside them while they rebuild. That is a smaller promise than a lot of places make, and we intend to keep it.

Structure, not surveillance.

Enough structure that the days have shape. Enough freedom that you are practicing the life you are actually going back to.

A real standard

Substance-free, always. Regular testing. Curfew. Chores that actually get done. The rules are not there to punish anyone — they keep the house worth living in.

Peer accountability

House meetings every week. Residents who have been here longer help the ones who just arrived. Nobody disappears into their room and drifts.

Forward motion

Working, in school, or job hunting — everyone is moving toward something. We help with resumes, interviews, transportation and getting to meetings.

We work with treatment centers, case managers, probation and families. If you are coming out of treatment or trying to help someone who is, reach out and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit.
